Just what i needed

So for college we've been assigned to create a story for a game, based off a fairy tale or fable. It's great, just what i needed to get my creative juices flowing.

We have to write up the synopsis/overview, development of characters, themes and settings, along with a script for a specific scene.

So yeh, i've been looking through a list of fairy tales/fables that i've found on the internet, and this is probably the most difficult part, because you've got to some how adapt the story into what-could-be a potential game. Sure you have your common ones like Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, Pandora's Box and what-not, but they're common and i feel the rest of my group will more than likely pick those xD

So if anyone has a suggestion i'll be glad to hear it At the moment i'm looking into "The Magic Book", a Danish fairy tale by Ewald Tan Kristensen.

We can adapt the story however we want as long as we keep the main plot line, so it gives us some expansion.

I'll more than likely make it a parallel path structure too, sorta like Fallout 3's Bad/Neutral/Good Karma paths, but with my own style.


P.S. I'll stop doing so many journal's, i should probably use tumblr a lot more and just link you all to that. Ah well
